This trip is excellent for everyone: beginners, pros, families with smaller children, etc. Whether you wish to canoe, kayak, raft, or tube. You can enjoy the calm water with many shallow sections as it curves its way through a wildlife sanctuary. Try stopping at one of the many sand bars for a picnic, or a leisurely swim. This trip is set on your time schedule, take as little as two hours or most of the day to enjoy yourselves. This trip starts from the livery and goes down to the M-115 bridge  where the Lions Club Park is located which has picnic areas. OVERNIGHT CAMPING

Most of the Manistee River has state or federal on land on both sides with beautiful spots that have been used for years for camping. Relax and enjoy the privacy, quiet,  and seclusion of the Manistee river. All we ask that you please leave it as you found it and enjoy yourselves as much as possible.
