Yes it is, the most popular family friendly trip we have is starting from the canoe livery and going down to the M-115 bridge. This trip depending on the equipment you rent it can be a 2 hour trip to most of the day. There are plenty of places to stop along the way to enjoy the scenery,have snacks, lunch, and take swimming breaks.
Yes, we offer kayak rentals for half-day, full-day, and multi-day trips.
Depending on weather and river changes, it can be 10ft deep or more on the bends of the river. There are sand bars along the way that are you can stop at that are shallow but those are mainly on the lower portion of the river. This is not a walkable river because of the frequent changes.
