We rent sit on/ sit in kayaks. 1 person and 2 person (tandems) are available.


A canoe is an open boat propelled by paddling. A kayak is a closed boat with a covered deck and is propelled by a double-bladed paddle.


Yes it is, the most popular family friendly trip we have is starting from the canoe livery and going down to the M-115 bridge. This trip depending on the equipment you rent it can be a 2 hour trip to most of the day. There are plenty of places to stop along the way to enjoy the scenery,have snacks, lunch, and take swimming breaks.


Yes, we offer kayak rentals for half-day, full-day, and multi-day trips.


Depending on weather and season it can be 10ft deep on bends of the river, but there are sand bars along the way that are you can stop at that are shallow. The sand might be covered if there is a lot of rain dependent on weather and season.


Yes, it has many species including walleye, pike, bass, and catfish.
